The Djiboutian Social Development Agency (ADDS) held Tuesday denier to the capital of the region Dikhil with local committees a consultation meeting on the financing of micro projects carrier associations in the fight against poverty.
A delegation of the Djibouti Social Development Agency (ADDS), led by the Director General, Mohamed Mahdi Djama, visited from Tuesday 2 to Wednesday 3 December at the chief town of Dikhil region.
Upon their arrival, guests were welcomed by the President of Dikhil Regional Council, Abdurahman Yonis Arreh.
The mission of the ADDS aimed to supervise the activities of urban poverty reduction project in the city of the unit.
At the meeting, the regional committee Dikhil submitted to the appreciation of the ADDS a list of several micro projects associations of carriers so that validates the most credible agency.
At the meeting, chaired by the Director General and the President of ADDS Dikhil Regional Council, stakeholders have studied several projects from the local associations.
They thus debated thoroughly and completely impartial manner the utility of each of these projects prior to their validation or not.
On this occasion, the leaders of the ADDS signed a financing agreement with the associations of the region whose projects were approved by the committee of community development funds Dikhil.
The local authority in the region has also co-sponsored with the ADDS launching a website for the Dikhil region.
We must remember that the region has a community development fund (CDF) to finance micro projects proposed by the associations of the region within the urban poverty reduction program. This fund is administered by a local committee chaired by the regional council.
