Yesterday in the premises of the ADDS, constituents of District 7 received training on the 3 components of PDUI, duties and rules of procedure of the Community Development Fund Management Committee (FDC).
Training on integrated urban development program (PDUI) opened yesterday in the meeting room of the Djiboutian Agency for Social Development (ADDS). The training session targeted advisory permanent members and those of the Community Development Fund Management Committee (FDC) in District 7. Some are designated by the administration of the common Boulaos. The others are nominated by their ministries.
Permanent members of the FDC management committee were treated to a presentation on the 3 components of PDUI, duties and rules of procedure of the CDF committee.
After this brief introduction, the general director of ADDS, Mahdi Mohamed Djama, said the purpose of this training was to familiarize participants with the different stages of a project. It is important, he added, that the members of CDF Management Committee can know the conditions of feasibility of a local development project. A prerequisite whose fulfillment will enable overall control requirements of transparency and understanding of the approaches adopted in the implementation of procedures.
In these conditions are met, the members of the Management Committee will be able to evaluate wisely micro projects submitted by associations under the management procedures and implementation of FDC in Ward 7.
